🕒 Opening Hours
We are open every day! Please note that we have new hours starting March 16, 2026.

💡 Tip: Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. If you want to enjoy the beautiful Pagoda Garden, it’s open daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (No ticket needed!).
🗓️ Important Dates (Closed Days)
We take a break on these few days in 2026:
  • New Year’s Day: January 1
  • Lunar New Year’s Day: February 17
  • Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving): September 25
  • Gallery Maintenance: The Permanent and Special Galleries close on the first Monday of June, September, and December. (Good news: We stay open in March 2026!)

👶 Traveling with Kids? (Children’s Museum)
The Children’s Museum runs in 5 fun sessions! We recommend booking online (280 spots per session) to guarantee your entry.
  • Sessions: 10:00 am / 12:00 pm / 1:30 pm / 3:00 pm / 4:30 pm (Each session lasts 80–110 mins).

💰 Admission
  • Free: Permanent exhibitions, Children’s Museum, and selected special exhibitions.
  • Paid: Some world-class special exhibitions may require a ticket.

🎒 Visitor Comforts & Services
We want your visit to be as comfortable as possible:
  • Free Rentals: Need a wheelchair or stroller? Pick one up for free at the Great Hall. (Strollers are for children up to 15kg).
  • Storage: Keep your hands free! Use our free coat storage (West side of the main gate) or lockers (near the Museum Shop and Children's Museum).
  • Nursing Room: A quiet lactation room is located in the Great Hall (1F), right across from the Museum Shop.
  • Souvenirs: Take a piece of Korea home! Visit our three Museum Shops or browse our online store.
